I originally created this card to share on the Hero Arts Blog this week, but once I finished I just wasn't happy with it. I like all the individual elements...the cute patterned paper, the bike stamp. But it just feels very blah to me.
The only part I really like is the ruler strip with the #6 circled (for the boy's 6th birthday). I think I'll try to recreate a new card with maybe a new color scheme and a little more dimension.
So, what do you do with your cards your not happy with? I have a large drawer of these cards and I can't bring myself to just toss them out. Maybe I need to just find somewhere to donate them.
Thanks for stopping by!

Send it to me! Ha! :) I think it's GREAT! Love the angled elements.
Are you kidding me Kelly I really like it! It's so different with the slant! And the scallops are they layered?????
Love the idea of the ruler with the age circled.
Really wonderful card, Kelly! I sure hope you will consider playing along with us over at CAS-ual Fridays! Your work is terrific!
You are WAY to hard on yourself girl!!! BUT I can relate...I have them at the back of the box where I store my cards :)
I absolutely love this, don't think it's 'blah' at all! Love it when it's your week, all your cards are so fun to gaze over!
your card is not 'blah' at all! love the circled 6!
Maybe you could donate your "blah" cards to Operation Write Home! Handmade cards are sent to our servicemen and women for them to send home to loved ones. Check it out at operationwritehome.org
I like everything about it and it would be perfect for this month challenge on HA blog! Super masculine Kelly!
Perfect card Kelly...boy. cards ate hard and not always as interesting as girly cards but I think this is wonderful...
This is really cute, Kelly! I love the way you circled the six - I instantly got that it was a 6th b-day! Cute papers and fun design too! So there! :) (Aren't we always our own worst critics?!)
Cards that I don't particularly like, I set aside and I try to re-work them later - adding something or pulling pieces off to put on a different card. If I've tried but just can't save it, I'll chop off any useable bits (like the back half of the notecard) and the rest goes in my recycle bin...
If you really don't like your card, I'm sure OWH would be thrilled to get it!
LOVE!
I absolutely LOVE this card, everything about it!!!
