On Friday I posted this inspiration photo on the Hero Arts Blog...
And here's the card I created...
The Classic Fabric Design image stamped with Shabby Shutters Distress Ink created the perfect tone on tone background. And the sentiment is from the Big Hugs clear stamp set...one of my favorites that I turn to time and time again. To make the buttons lay nice and flat I strung them all onto the same piece of white string and adhered them onto a strip of double-sided adhesive. Without a knot on the back of each button, they all lay smooth and don't create too much bulk.
Thanks for stopping by!

I had to come and see how you did the background. The colour looks like a Pan Pastel colour that I just bought. The white embossing looks lovely on the green bg and how cool that the buttons are a mix of two and four holes!
This is such a great take on that picture Kelly - so clever!

I was so sad to have missed your FIF challenge, Kelly - I was away for a long weekend. It's SO pretty - those pillows are absolutely fabulous! And I love your take on it - elegant bg and wonderful button rainbow! Great tip to reduce the bulk from attaching the buttons, too!
