I ♡ Hero Arts: Day 1

Hi there!  Each day this week I will be sharing a new card using some awesome new Hero Arts stamps.  I feel so blessed to get to work with such an amazing company and group of people.  So this week I just wanted to have a little fun and create cards using some of my favorite stamps.  To share the love I will also be doing a few giveaways throughout the week...starting with today! :)

So let's get on to today's card.  I'm totally in love with the Zig Zag background stamp...and embossing it makes it that much more yummy. ;)  The butterfly was stamped onto some watercolor paper and then colored with watercolor pencils. The rounded corners and faux white stitching added the perfect finishing touch to this card.

Now for the giveaway!  One winner will receive the Hero Arts Year Round Sentiments clear stamp set.  This is my absolute favorite set from the new catalog!

Just leave a comment on this post by Midnight CST on Sunday, January 22nd.  I'll randomly draw a winner from all the comments and announce the winner next week.

See you tomorrow!

♡

Hello Kelly
I´m new here and so very surprised to soak a little ( or rather a lot ) of inspiration from your wonderful creations. I found your blog via Jennifer Macquire. Will look forward to enjoy your great ideas in the future. Thank you for sharing. Can I ask how you made the faux white stitches ?..... or is that common knowledge ??? If so bear with me. I´m not experienced into this art. Having been an avid quilter for many years !!
