Caardvarks Challenge
Happy Friday everyone!
Just wanted to let you know that a new challenge starts today at Caardvarks. The challenge is to color a stamped image. You can use any method you want...markers, colored pencils, paint, etc. The sponsor is My Scrapbook Nook and the prize is 4 Copic markers.
Here's a card I made where I colored this awesome flower stamp from Hero Arts with colored pencils. Then I outlined it with glitter glue to add a little sparkle.
Hope you have time to play along!
Have a great weekend!

Holiday Hop - Day 3
Welcome back! It's day three of the Caardvarks Holiday Hop sponsored by Creative Cuts & More.
Before I get to my project I just wanted to mention that you can get a special 15% shopping discount at Creative Cuts & More...just enter holidayhop2009 at checkout. It's good thru Nov. 4th. They've got a huge selection of awesome die cuts that I highly recommend you check out.
Today's theme is home decor, holiday centerpieces and ornaments. I used the Antique Elegance Frame die cut from Creative Cuts & More to create this Christmas ornament. It was super simple to make...I just covered the chipboard with some patterned paper, added a little bling, some ribbon and of course a cute photo. ;)

Holiday Hop - Day 2
Welcome to Day 2 of the Caardvarks Holiday Hop sponsored by Creative Cuts & More. Today is all about pretty packaging. I think it's so much fun to give a gift that is just as pretty on the outside as the gift inside.
For my project, I used the Oval Window Box from Creative Cuts & More to create a little candy box. I put a piece of acetate behind the window and stamped some snowflakes. I love how it gives you just a little peak at what's inside.

Polka Dot Basics, Hero Arts Holiday Sayings, Hero Arts Winter's Butterfly;
Patterned Paper - Bo Bunny; Ink - ColorBox Chalk Lime Pastel,

My First Entry
Hi and welcome to my blog! This is my first entry, so I just wanted to do a little test to make sure everything is working ok.
And since I'll usually be sharing cards and projects that I create, here's a simple card I made to start things off. The flower is made using the Cuttlebug Flower Dies and then I just did a little folding and distressing to add some texture.
Stamps - Hero Arts Everyday Sayings; Patterned Paper - We R Memory Keepers;
Cuttlebug Flower Dies; Memories Black Ink; Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper;
EK Success Circle Punch; sewing
Thanks so much for visiting!
