Poppy Seed Challenge #2

Hi there! It's been a couple weeks since I sat down in my craft room to make a card, but I had all three kiddos napping at the same time today, so I got a chance to play around a bit. I made this card for Lisa Johnson's Poppy Seed Challenge #2. This is probably my favorite color combo to work with, so the card actually came together pretty fast. And see those triangular shaped Papertrey buttons I used for the petals?...I have a bunch of these and have never quite found the right use for them. But I think I have now. ;) Thanks for stopping by...I always appreciate all your sweet comments. Have a great day! Kelly

Poppy Seed Challenge #1

Hi everyone! Today I have a card to share with you that I created for Lisa Johnson's Poppy Seed Challenge #1. I'm a big fan of Lisa's work, so I'm excited that she's started a challenge. She's got such a clean and crisp style that I am drawn to. Here's the theme of this week's challenge... And here's my card... I love all the yellow I'm seeing out there lately...both in the crafty world as well as in home decor and fashion. Only 6 more days until baby #3 arrives in our family...and I am definitely ready! I'm hoping to get a little crafty time in this weekend since who knows how easy it will be to find the time after the baby is born. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day! Kelly
