2014 Hero Arts Catalog Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my stop on the 2014 Hero Arts Catalog Blog Hop! There are so many awesome new stamps and products coming out soon and I'm excited to give you a peek at a few of them.

My first card uses two new clear stamp sets. The first one is called Enjoy Today (CL759) and has a great mix of sentiments in a fun script font. The "hello there" sentiment is definitely a favorite of mine! And the other clear set is called Butterfly and Flower (CL750) which has a mix of solid and outline images to create some fun layered images. There are also coordinating dies to this set and I can't wait to get my hands on them!

My next card uses a popular new background stamp called Tiny Flags (S5881) that I'm guessing many of you have already seen. I can already tell this will be one of those stamps that I will hang on to forever! And that awesome sentiment is a woodblock stamp called Birthday Chart (K5900). I love the bigger size of this sentiment and it's great for making quick cards!

Be sure to leave a comment on this post for your chance to win a prize pack from Hero Arts! Winners will be randomly chosen from ALL of the blog hop comments received by midnight PST on Sunday, December 22.

BasicGrey: Persimmon

Hey there! Today I've got a simple Halloween card to share that uses the fabulous BasicGrey Persimmon collection.

All the papers are from the 6x6 paper pad and the sentiment circle and stars are from the chipboard sticker pack.

The stickers are great for making quick cards, but I still like to add a little extra something to make them stand out. So, I added some Glossy Accents to the stars and some glitter to the sentiment using a Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen.

BasicGrey: Carte Postale

Hi there! I've got a couple cards to share today using the BasicGrey Carte Postale collection.

The first card features the acetate alphas -- they such an easy way to make a statement with a big sentiment on a card! I also added some wood veneer die cuts and the two strips of paper on the sides are from the 6x6 paper pad.

The next card features of mix of many products from the collection -- vellum tape stickers, chipboard buttons, chipboard shapes and vintage stamps. It's so easy to create a collage of items like this when the products match perfectly!
