I ♡ Hero Arts: Day 2

Hi!  I'm back today to share another card using some more beautiful Hero Arts stamps.

Today's card is pretty simple.  I let the stamped image be the focus of the card and just added some decorative borders to the bottom edge.  I wanted to add my own sentiment to the card, rather than use the "hello" that comes on the flower stamp. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, check out the stamp here.)  So I just covered it up with a piece of lace and added my own bolder sentiment above it.

That cute pom border was created by using the thin strip that is leftover after die-cutting with this Notebook Edge Die.  I save so many little scraps of paper and I finally put one to good use! :)  I also added some Antique Linen Distress Stickles to the center of the flower for some shine.

Thanks for stopping by and for all your sweet comments!  I'll be back tomorrow with another card (and maybe another giveaway, too!).

  6. Oh! I REALLY love what you did here! So beautiful! I used this same stamp on a card and the result was too light. Perhaps I didn't use the correct ink, so I'll give it another try.

  8. What a lovely little card. I totally thought they were "real" pom-poms along the bottom. Must remember to keep these negative cuts more often. Love the soft nature of the treatment you've applied to this stamp. xx

  33. Did you stamp this on fabric? I was wondering about the wavy edge. Did you stamp the image and enhance with something else or is the stamp just that good? Thanks so much.
