Today's card is pretty simple. I let the stamped image be the focus of the card and just added some decorative borders to the bottom edge. I wanted to add my own sentiment to the card, rather than use the "hello" that comes on the flower stamp. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, check out the stamp here.) So I just covered it up with a piece of lace and added my own bolder sentiment above it.
{Stamps: Hero Arts Hello Flower, Hero Arts Say It All}
That cute pom border was created by using the thin strip that is leftover after die-cutting with this Notebook Edge Die. I save so many little scraps of paper and I finally put one to good use! :) I also added some Antique Linen Distress Stickles to the center of the flower for some shine.
Thanks for stopping by and for all your sweet comments! I'll be back tomorrow with another card (and maybe another giveaway, too!).

ReplyDeleteDid you stamp this on fabric? I was wondering about the wavy edge. Did you stamp the image and enhance with something else or is the stamp just that good? Thanks so much.
ReplyDeleteWow, this is gorgeous. Not sure how I've been away from the stamping world for a year now, but it's nice to get some good peeks like today! Always love your work, Kelly! Love the "pom pom" border, it's very convincing!
