Get out your ribbons!
I am so excited to be hosting the Hero Arts Blog this week! Three other members of the Hero Arts Designer Team, along with myself, will be showing you creative ways to use ribbons on your projects. Be sure to check it out for lots of fun and inspiration (and a GIVEAWAY everyday)!
Here's a card I made featuring a flower created from some twill ribbon. First, I stamped a polka dot background on the ribbon with some brown ink. Then I hand-sewed a running stitch along one edge of the ribbon. Next, pull the end of the thread until the ribbon gathers and tie it off with a knot. It's really simple once you try it!
SUPPLIES: Stamps - Hero Arts Dots, Hero Arts Flourish Background, Hero Arts Thank You Messages; Cardstock - Hero Arts Chocolate Notecards, Hero Arts Snow Layering Paper, Papertrey Ink Kraft Cardstock; Ribbon - Martha Stewart; Punch - EK Success Embossed Curve; Ink - Versafine Vintage Sepia; Embellishments - Hero Arts Clear Gemstones (colored with aqua permanent marker), Papertrey Ink Chocolate Button; Fabric - JoAnn's; other - white pen
Thanks for stopping by!
