Hero Arts Stamp Your Story Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to my stop on the Hero Arts Stamp Your Story Blog Hop! I'm so excited to share a couple cards with you today using some amazing new stamps!

These stamps are ideal for creating journals, scrapbooking and project life, but I wanted to show you how they can also work great for cards.

This first card uses the zig zag image from the Notebook Essentials stamp set to create the chevron design with a variety of red and pink inks. And that adorable little sentiment is from the My Words stamp set.

My next card features the awesome alphabet stamp set, Sketchbook Letters. I stamped the letters inside the Painted Circle and then die cut the circle. I also used the Brushed Frame, Stamp and Build and Notebook Essentials on the card.

Here are a few important details to note about the release of these new products:

      • The Stamp Your Story digital catalog can be viewed here.
      • Stamp Your Story products are currently shipping to retail stores around the world.
      • All Stamp Your Story products will be coming to the Hero Arts Online Store on May 15th.
      • Enter the new Stamp Your Story contest here.

Be sure to leave a comment on this post for your chance to win a prize package from Hero Arts! A winner will be drawn from all comments received on the blog hop.

Your next stop on the hop is my super sweet and talented sister, Tami!

And just in case you come across a broken link, you can find a complete list of blog hoppers on the Hero Arts Blog.

you are a wonderful friend

Hi there! I'm back with one more card made using the Simon Says Stamp You clear stamp set.

I used a paper weaving technique I learned from Lisa Spangler in the Pattern Play Online Card Class. The gorgeous papers are from the Dear Lizzy Neopolitan 6x6 paper pad -- it works great to use papers all from the same pad for this technique since they all already coordinate! Once I had it all assembled I rubbed some Picket Fence Distress Stain over the top to tone down the colors a bit.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

you are loved

Hi! I'm back again today to share another card using the Simon Says Stamp You clear stamp set.

Those adorable heart squares are from the Simon Says Stamp Square Sayings clear stamp set.  And I stamped them in some yummy Hero Arts inks -- Soft Cantaloupe, Butter Bar, Pale Tomato and Orange Soda.

That little white heart is covered in white enamel accents...a fun little tip I learned from Kristina Werner. :)

I'll be back soon!
