BasicGrey Design Team Blog Hop

Welcome to the BasicGrey Design Team Blog Hop!  You should have arrived here from the blog of Shari Carroll.

I'm so happy to finally be sharing this wonderful news! I'm am beyond thrilled to be a part of the BasicGrey Design Team -- a company that I have loved for many years! I look forward to working with their amazing products and sharing what I love to do with all of you. I want to give a huge thanks to BasicGrey for allowing me this amazing opportunity and to Melanie for being so awesome to work with.

Now I have a card to share using the gorgeous products from the new Lucille Collection.

I absolutely adore the sentiment (from this set)...I think it is a perfect saying to brighten someone's day!  The butterfly and doily are from the Sticker Elements sheet. Since only half the doily was going to show I cut it in half so the other part can be used on another project.

To celebrate the new design team, BasicGrey is allowing me to give away a Hello Luscious Collection Pack -- one of my favorite BasicGrey lines!  For your chance to win, see the giveaway box below :

Next, it's time to hop over to Kathy Racoosin's blog!

BasicGrey Soleil Blog Hop

Welcome to the BasicGrey Soleil Blog Hop!  You should have arrived here from Kelly Noel's blog. I am so thrilled that BasicGrey asked me to join in on the fun today! :)

The bright, unapologetic hues of light dancing through the atmosphere, refracted from a prism or reflecting off the water are captured in Soleil, a collaborative collection by BasicGrey and Sassafras. This line is both serene and invigorating with its harvested-from-the-earth fruit and flower colors like soft lavender, juicy peach, tangerine, blueberry juice and watermelon. Let its calming yet spirited nature inspire your creative soul.

The yellow chevron pattern across the card is trimmed from one of my favorite papers from this collection, Yellow Umbrella. I embellished my card with a mix of accents from the Pins and Tags as well as the Die-Cut Paper & Canvas Flowers. I just love the texture that both of these items add to the card!

Want a chance to win a Soleil collection pack? See the giveaway box below:

congrats

Hi! I'm back with another entry for the Stamp It! Cards Challenge in the Moxie Fab World. This one is for the congratulations category.

I stamped the frame die with the Hero Arts Old Letter Writing image and embossed it with white embossing powder. Then I inked over the top with four different blue shades of Distress Ink to create the gradient.

The sentiment is from the Hero Arts Essential Messages clear stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by!

i ♥ u

To celebrate the release of Stamp It! Cards, Cath is having a celebration with a few challenges over at Moxie Fab World. There are four different categories: love, congrats, hello and birthday. I have created a card for each category and will share my cards over the next several days.

First up, here is my card for the love category...

I stamped the Hero Arts/Studio Calico Lattice Background using Wet Cement Shadow Ink. The tag image is from the BasicGrey Guest Check stamp set. And the little "i ♡ u" sentiment on the tag was put together with images from the Year Round Sentiments stamp set -- it's so fun to come up with custom sentiments like this! :)

The tag is topped off with die cut heart that is covered in Hero Arts Neon Pink Ink and Glossy Accents.  I also added a few strips of some of my favorite washi tapes behind the tag to add some more color.

Thanks for stopping by! I'll be back soon with another card. :)

a couple cards

Hi! Just popping in to share a couple of older cards I created many months ago. (I think they were both rejects from a Paper Crafts call.)

Both cards use sentiments from the Hero Arts Thank You For Being My Friend clear stamp set. I just love this typewriter font! Wouldn't a set with some basic Happy Birthday, Congrats, etc. sentiments be wonderful in this font?!?! I would probably use it on every card I made! ;)

Several weeks ago my computer was down for two weeks so I had some extra time on my hands to create some cards. Hopefully I'll be back soon to share some of them! :)
