Have you been over to visit the Hero Arts Blog this week to check out the amazing cards my sister, Tami, has created? On Monday she shared this masterpiece! And on Tuesday she shared this one...just stunning!
I was thrilled that she asked me to be a part of her week and create a video to share on Wednesday. I showed how to create some cute girly hair accessories using some Hero Arts stamps and embellishments.
My little model wouldn't sit still for long, so I just got a couple shots of the headband I made. ;) Check out the other barrettes I created and the video here.
Also, I've had fun changing up the look of my blog this week. I am loving the yellow & gray color combo lately so I decided to give it a try here on the blog.
Have a great day!

Jane's Bakery Blog Hop
Hi there! I was invited by the incredibly talented Jane Beljo to participate in a blog hop that celebrates her first stamp set called Jane's Bakery.
Aren't all those images adorable?!?! I love that you can make a complete card from this one set. It has all the images you need...a background, sentiment and three main images to choose from.
Here's my card I created...
I stamped the polka dot background using Hero Arts Soft Sand Shadow Ink and the cake is paper-pieced using some papers from My Mind's Eye.
And I made that cute little chrysanthemum flower embellishment from clay...which is totally inspired by the wonderful buttons that Jane makes! :)

Handmade Embellishments
Hi everyone!
Yesterday morning I posted a picture on Twitter of some handmade clay embellishments that I was making and I couldn't believe all the sweet comments I got about them. I got a lot of questions about how to create them and supplies, so I thought I'd just do a little blog post.
A couple weeks ago I bought a few molds on Etsy with plans to make some of my own embellishments and yesterday I finally got to play. The molds I bought are from Mold Muse and here are some of the embellishments I made...
The chrysanthemum is my favorite! I've got so many ideas in my head of things I could do with these from jewelry to home decor...and of course I'm going to have to put them on some cards! :)
And then I remembered I had some Sculpey MoldMaker that I have used to make some buttons in the past, so I made a few of my own molds. I just used random buttons, beads and brads that I had lying around. It's a little tricky to get a good impression and I think I need to practice a bit, but here are some of the mold I made...
And these are some of the embellishments from my handmade molds...
The molds that I purchased were much easier to use, but I love that these are so unique and cannot be found anywhere else. They are far from perfect, but so fun! :)
Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

Sending Caring Thoughts
Hello! Today I have a very simple sympathy card to share with you.
I have to admit that this is one type of card that I usually buy. But with this Hero Arts stamp set...I now have the perfect sentiments to use. I also used my favorite Classic Fabric Design to create the clear embossed background on kraft.
Have a great day!

Hello
Hi there! Here's a quick card I managed to whip up this morning using some scraps left over from my card that is up on the Hero Arts Blog today.
Love those typewriter letters from this Hero Arts set! And that teal floral paper is one of my favorites from this new Basic Grey paper pad.
Thanks for stopping by and hopefully I'll be back soon with more to share!

Gray is the New Black
Hi there! Just popping in real quick to share a card I created for the Gray is the New Black Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.
First, I white embossed the Circle Lace image on some gray Basic Grey paper. Then I stamped over the top with the Antique Writing image using Pumice Stone Distress Ink. The sentiment is from the new Sending Smiles Message clear stamp set. And I finished the card off with some twine from The Twinery and a cute little gray heart button.
Have a great day! :)

Hello
I don't decorate the insides of my cards very often...and it's mostly because I am a very slow card maker. By the time I've spent several hours on the front of the card, I'm ready to call it quits. ;) But the January challenge theme over on the Hero Arts Blog motivated me to give it a shot. I thought a window card would a perfect solution, so here's what I came up with...
Lots of Hero Arts stamps going on here...Music Background, Blossom Art and Live Life. I love the font used for the word "hello"...can you imagine a whole set of sentiments using this font?...yum! ;)
Have a great day! :)
